Ayla Theia

Ayla Theia meaning light in the darkness or « wide-shining » is a singer songwriter and dancer of
Beninese descent born and raised in Bulgaria now living in Montreal, Canada. The light that she spreads is one of guidance... the kind of light that sparks hope and fuels people’s passions.
She hopes to inspire others to never give up on their dreams and to keep following the path to their authentic selves.
Her passions are music and dance, which were just hobbies, until a life changing trip back to Bulgaria. She quickly tapped into her true ambitions there, where she had the opportunity to dance and sing professionally for more than a year.
The influence of her travels stayed with her when she returned to Montreal. She found the motivation and drive to pursue her passion and record her first collaboration song “Down on it” in summer 2018.
The latest fuel to her fire is her single “Freedom” exploring dreamy R&B and Afro flavors making you dream about the sun, sand and the ocean!
She is ready to step into her power and create music that can be emotionally relatable to her listeners.
