"Judge me by appearance, you won't understand the book". The words of Raw Deal Squad 's Cerebral Assassin, Azrael DiCaprio (known previously as Death DaVinci). Those words couldn't be more fitting. Born with cerebral palsy, No one could imagine that the man born Karee Bennett would defy odds and find his greatest comfort zone behind a microphone.
As a youth, Azrael used music as an outlet. Drawing inspiration from Eminem, Black Thought, Jay-Z, Redman, Nas among others, he found his passion for writing and began taking music seriously working with his brother & mentor Rob Stashiz.
He released The Mona Lisa Masterpiece in 2011, which contained the autobiographical gem "Hearsay" which discusses his struggle with cerebral palsy and the desire to gain respect for his ability
His recently released Cerebral Assassin project has received much acclaim and has helped Azrael to reach an evergrowing fanbase. His style could be best described as soulful, lyrical & introspective. When asked about his aliases, Azrael (the angel of Death) mentions that it represents his desires in music: To kill the game in every way, but to also be respected as a great artist.
His newest project, "The White Rose Project", inspired by cult classic "Mr. Robot" as well as social commentary and fatherhood is available now.
