Babak Kazemi

Babak Kazemi is a composer, conductor and multi instrumentalist.
Babak started his musical journey in Tehran, Iran. He studied piano and then harmony and composition with various renowned tutors in Iran before leaving the country for his musical venture around the globe. In 2010 he settled in London where he continued his musical studies. He then received a scholarship to study composition and conducting at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Alongside studying at the conservatoire he frequently visited various countries to conduct orchestras and take part in opera and ballet productions.
In 2014 he was appointed Musical Director and Composer of Light of Music Symphony Orchestra. His work with Light of Music resulted in orchestral concerts in various venues in London. During his time with Light of music, Babak composed large scale pieces,such as orchestral songs, a violin concertino and a choral symphony.

After leaving Light of Music he established his own recording/performing company and a studio for recording his compositions.

In 2020 he set himself the lifelong goal of composing a thousand pieces. Thus he pledged his soul and body to music making.
