Babette van Vugt (born 13 June 1994), known professionally as BABET is a Dutch singer/songwriter.

She participated in The Voice of Holland and has previously performed at Tomorrowland, Formula 1/Abu Dhabi, was special guest live for Robbie Williams and wrote songs for Demi Lovato, The Chainsmokers, Pitbull.

In her homeland of The Netherlands, she created a national hit: ‘’1 Op Een Miljoen’’ with Metejoor, a producer from Belgium. The track was #1 in Belgium and Top 40 in the Netherlands - the record went platinum in Belgium. She has amassed 27+ million streams on that song alone, more streams across Spotify and had 3+ million views on YouTube under her belt.

Babette also has her own jewellery brand, GOMPHI, and has modelled for various agencies. She currently has working brand partnerships with Maybelline, L'Oreal, COTY (Gucci) and others.

This year, she performed live at Sportpaleis, Antwerpen to a 20,000 person audience.

Her upcoming EP ‘Bury Me’, set for release in late November to end 2024 with a bang, showcases her production and writing skills, in an electro alt pop form, with anthemic melodies, percussions and a hard energy to boot.
