It was a hot summer day in the Floribama region of America on August 27th when Baby E was born to a single teenage mother. Baby E's first word was finessin. He wrote "rockstar" as his dream occupation on his kindergarten diploma. Baby E is the music industry's best kept secret, known for blending genres and pushing musical boundaries. After performing in emo/post-hardcore bands on the Warped Tour circuit from the young age 14, Baby E ventured into a solo career which led him to signing with legendary producer Dr. Luke and Island/Def Jam Records. Baby E achieved huge success writing songs for Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Kim Petras, Ty Dolla Sign, Juicy J, Trey Songz, Kevin Gates and more. In search of new creative pursuits, Baby E left his label and self-released his viral hit, “Finessin”, catching the attention of Lil Wayne who signed him to Young Money Records. After being mentored by Lil Wayne and touring with him, E took the valuable knowledge and experience and put it to use as an independent artist. Baby E’s 2024 release, "Emo Redneck" showcases his evolution as an artist, blending melodic rap with introspective storytelling, returning to his small town Floribama roots with added country elements. From underground artist to mainstream success, “Emo Redneck” marks a new chapter in Baby E’s legacy.
