With little controversy surrounding him and socially conscious lyrics, Baby Wayne was unlike most dancehall DJs. Putting the positive grooves of old-school reggae back into dancehall, he released Ram DJ on Heartbeat Records. He passed away from pneumonia on October 30, 2005, after entering a Kingston, Jamaica, hospital 16 days earlier complaining of chest pains. ~ John Bush, Rovi
