Gontse Swartz professionally known as Bacardi 505, had always been passionate about music. Growing up in Thaba Nchu, South Africa, he was exposed to a diverse range of musical styles, from hip-hop and house music to gqom, As he got older, Bacardi 505 found himself drawn to the emerging genre of Amapiano. He started experimenting with producing his own music from grade 9, using his pair of headphones and laptop to create beats and loops. Despite facing challenges and setbacks, Bacardi 505 remained determined to become Amapiano producer and DJ. He would spend hours in his home studio, perfecting his sound and experimenting new techniques. Then one day decided to work on his Debut Album as an Introduction to the Entertainment industry which has already been released, Bacardi 505 hopes to shape the Amapiano Industry and create a name and brand for himself. His music style is unique whereby he fuses gqom with the live music elements. And now he is Working on new music and is determined to deliver music that captivates the ears of the listeners around the world.
