The Force and Fury of the genre that continues to move millions of metalheads around the globe, never ceases to inspire generations to come.
And Badasstor, a band born and raised in the heart of the State of Mexico, knows this very well.
They emerged right in the middle of a reality that hit the society of the new millennium, a pandemic that made millions of people live in uncertainty, and that in Mexico was noticed, as in many big cities, for leaving many people in the uncertainty of not knowing what would happen in the future. In the midst of this wave that brought a new reality, Yael Luna and Yair Chavez forged the beginning of a project that little by little took shape with the addition of Omar Luna, Pablo Peralta and Aldo Aguilar, and it’s on its way to become one of the bands of the Groove Metal genre in Mexico that will be talked about for a long time. The way Badasstor conceives the genre brings back memories of what it had been just a few decades ago: a hard and relentless Metal, with lyrics that serve as a balm and at the same time as a statement, a statute that says: "This is what we do, be prepared". And that's how Metal should be according to these guys, music that makes you shake your head, while making you think “what the hell is going on?”
