Banba is an experimental electronic music project, originating from the Dublin mountains.
Formed in early 2020, Banba mixes a multitude of electronic genres, creating sonic textures and psychedelic layers, through manipulating samples and collaborating with other artists. The name Banba originates from the Irish mythical figure Banbha, a matron goddess of Ireland
The tracks range from down tempo grooves, dusty lofi beats, to uplifting rave euphoria.
With track releases acclaimed by musical bodies HotPress, GoldenPlec, Nialler 9, IMRO, and a range of local and global radio stations, Banba was tipped as one of the producers to watch out for 2023.
Expanding on the projects productions, the solo artist has incorporated live performances throughout 2023 in multiple venues such as Whelans, Workmans and the formerly known MVP.
