Banji is a 26-year-old rapper, producer, songwriter, content creator and semi-professional footballer from South London. Born in Blythe, California, and raised in Vienna before moving to London in 2005, his upbringing shaped both his identity and sound.

Diagnosed with autism at age 3, Banji was non-verbal until around 5–6 years old. As he developed his speech, he formed a unique hybrid accent — blending London influence with subtle American tonality — reflecting both his background and the way he processes language.

Music became a key outlet for expression and growth, with early influences including DMX, Nas, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Kanye West.

He began his music journey at university (2018–2022), earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music production, where he developed skills in producing, mixing and mastering. In 2022, he transitioned into rapping, inspired by artists who create and perform their own music. Since then, he has released three EPs — ME (2023), Discovery (2024), and REBORN (2025) — showcasing his evolution as both an artist and storyteller.

His influences include Logic, J. Cole, Kanye West, Redveil, Kendrick Lamar, Saba, Dave, Little Simz, Knucks, Drake, Eminem, Cordae — with Logic being a key inspiration behind his journey into music.
