Sven Vath and Ralph Hildenbeutel, the duo behind Vath's two mid-'90s solo albums, also collaborate as Barbarella. They met in 1990, just as Hildenbeutel was moving toward dance and Vath was founding the Eye Q label with Heinz Roth.
