Bardvarkk is a femme-led four-piece punk powerhouse forged in the heart of Muloobinba/Newcastle in 2024. Niamh (Vocalist), Sam (Guitarist), Sam (Drummer) and Sean (Bassist) are channeling the raw energy of Amyl and The Sniffers, the raucous spirit of C.O.F.F.I.N, and the dynamic punch of Die Spitz.
Bardvarkk delivers an explosive live show that leaves no one standing still. With politically charged lyrics, sharp wit, and a satirical streak reminiscent of The Herd and Kneecap, their songs are as thought-provoking as they are mosh-pit ready.
Having cut their teeth on backyard stages and in DIY laneways, Bardvarkk has quickly become a bold voice in the all-ages punk scene, gaining a reputation for their fierce presence and unfiltered authenticity.
Bardvarkk is breaking out of the all-ages scene and crashing into Newcastle’s live music circuit, now bringing their fierce energy to pubs and established venues across the city.
With a deep connection to activist movements like Rising Tide, the band has played at numerous protest gigs, including the People’s Blockade of the World’s Largest Coal Port.
Currently in the studio crafting their debut EP set for release later this year, Bardvarkk is just getting started…angry, loud, and unapologetically here for change.
