Barnaby Bright is a Kansas City based alt Americana trio that blends contemporary influences with Nathan’s Oklahoma roots and a distant family connection to Merle Haggard. For more than a decade Nathan’s virtuosic acoustic guitar and banjo work paired with Becky’s soaring vocals and harmonium shaped the core of the group. When Carmen Dieker joined, her haunting violin, along with their rich three part harmonies, brought a new depth to their sound.
Barnaby Bright has earned notable accolades including the grand prize at NYC Songwriter Circle, a place on Amazon’s Top One Hundred Albums of the Year, and a Christmas record recognized by The New York Times as one of its Top Twenty. Their music has also appeared in the hit Netflix series Sex/Life.
Their new album The Sum of Moments Passed is available now, and the trio is currently touring the nation in support of this long awaited release.
