Barriers are a punk/hardcore band from Brighton UK. Best described as a mix of 90s skate punk and modern hardcore, Barriers was formed in 2017 by Tom (guitar), Chris (drums), and Gregg (bass) out of the ashes of their previous band. They began writing material, gigging along the south coast, and in the spring of 2019 released debut album “<a href="spotify:album:7LReaFNkf3729ZF7r3SKEe" data-name="Through the Middle">Through the Middle</a>”. Over the next few years a couple of lineup changes ensued, and in early 2023 they were joined by Andy (formerly of Torchbearer) on vocals to complete the current lineup.
Now as a four piece with a set of blistering punk hardcore songs and new singles “<a href="spotify:track:7KkcouMescvXPM40dca0Pf" data-name="Distant Memory">Distant Memory</a>” & "<a href="spotify:album:7Bn4Qa88BqjpqwK51ajoKv" data-name="Sick Sad World">Sick Sad World</a>" released, they're hitting the shows hard in 2024/25.
