Clinging unapologetically to a classic sound, and showcasing a smooth visual aesthetic to match, Bastards Of Soul stormed thunderously on to the DFW scene in the spring of 2016. Propelled by a veteran crew of legendary East Dallas players, and led by the raw soul power of charismatic frontman Chadwick Murray, the Bastards naturally evolved from a ragged bar band intensely learning the classic ropes, to a confident, well-oiled songwriting machine. You feel their vibe live, and now you hear it on wax. Recorded at Niles City Sound in Fort Worth and produced alongside Josh Block of the same team that shaped Leon Bridges’debut, Bastards of Soul just released their first vinyl 7” release “The Way It Should Be” b/w “The Waiting Time” on Dallas-based indie record label Eastwood Music Group.
