BBRC, a permutation of Notes To Self
Compounding the talents of rappers' rapper, Roshin, left-field songwriter, Arowbe, and creative director/rapper/producer, Bronze — BBRC is formed. Their sound meshes an early-Def Jam intensity, with smoothed out new jack swing, and a jiggy sensibility evocative of Hype Williams' wardrobe department into a vibe that mostly sounds like a bunch of guys having fun rhyming in a basement. BBRC’s full-length debut, “The Peach Pit Sessions,” chronicles the thrills and pursuits of three loud-music loving, girl-chasing, car-wanting teenagers - a concept that naturally extends itself into their newest hybrid; ‘SHWING’, with multi-instrumentalist/producer and collaborator, Plutonic Lab.
