In 1989, drummer and DJ Cesare Cera aka Black Mighty Wax accidentally produced a track with Irma Records, using the nickname Mr. Be Noir. Guido Caliandro, aka Soundhands, co-wrote the song. In 1990, they formed Be Noir and released "Love Themes," which received excellent reviews in the UK. They brought in singer Elisa Molisso, aka Elise, who contributed a song to the track. The following year, "Give Me Your Love" arrived, which also received great acclaim in the US. "It's Gonna Be Alright" followed, confirming the trio's soulful style. There are still unreleased tracks from the trio that will soon be released by Irma Records.
