behind the RedGiant

Based in Viseu - Portugal, "behind the RedGiant" were born around 2010 with João Sousa on drums, Rui Costa on bass and Ricardo Sousa on guitar. Shortly after, Pedro Ribeiro joins the band on keyboards.

Interspersed with some periods of complete inactivity, the band's lineup changed several times, starting with the departure of Pedro Ribeiro and João Sousa.
A few years later the project came back to life with the entry of João Esteves on drums and a little later with Alexandre Sousa on guitar.
Life took João Esteves out of the project before starting the recording of the album "how far is far away?", giving way to the current drummer, Alexandre Tomás in 2021. The conditions were then met to start recording their debut album. As a completely "in house" production, recording and mixing were only finished by the end of that year.

2022 becomes the year in which this project sees the light of day with the release of the album "how far is far away?".
And so the journey begins.
