Born in Beijing, China, and having grown up in the U.S., Beijing Daddy does not shy from bringing to life the complexity of moving across "the gap" and back. "The gap" is intercultural, as much as it is interindividual. Long-standing blockades exist between conscious minds in the modern world. Beijing Daddy uses his lyricism to bridge the gaps and to uplift common grounds. At the end of the day, we are lone spirits in this mostly mysterious universe; we are free to make the most of every experience that we cannot run from.
