Lauded for her personal and engaging performances, Canadian violinist Belle Ting is quickly building an international career, performing with orchestras including the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, and the Odense Symphony Orchestra under conductors such as Lan Shui, Jahja Ling, Gabor Kali, Gerhard Schmalfuss, and Michael Stern.
Belle has performed at festivals including the Verbier Festival in Switzerland and the International Kirishima Music Festival in Japan, and is prizewinner of numerous international competitions, including the International Johannes Brahms Competition, the International Isaac Stern Violin Competition and the International Khachaturian Violin Competition, where she also won the vote for the Audience Award.
Born in Taipei, Belle began her musical studies at the age of seven and studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Her performances have been featured in radio, television and digital broadcasts, including ORF "Licht ins Dunkel", Classic FM and medici.tv: Her debut album “Impressions” is dedicated to works of French and Belgian composers.
