My name is Beni El-Dalati, or Ben-E Dalati and I make musical theater. I’m currently working on my new show the Lion and the Lamb. The Lion and the Lamb is a show about two young men from disparate backgrounds who through their connection learn how to grow from the pain of family struggles, issues of sexuality, and the inequities of status in society to bridge the divide between each other. The show centers on Adam who is a gay mixed race but predominantly Arab-Muslim who meets Leo a stereotypically beloved white, straight “golden boy”. Despite their appearances both boys find they have more that unites them than what tears them apart. Stay tuned for more content from the musical!
