Forged in the Texas Hill Country, now Nashville based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Ben Kadlecek fell in love with music as a young boy. A piano player since the age of seven, he is unique in the fact that he can command the stage behind either the keys or a guitar.
Heartbreak on Fire is the first single from the concept EP “The Heartbreak Sessions”. Working with only one other person; producer, engineer and instrumentalist Colton Parker, Ben was able to really dive into each song stylistically.
A graduate of Texas A&M university, Ben truly came into his own as an artist during his time in College Station. Recording his first song in an apartment studio, he would go on to team up with Joey Pruski and other members of the <a href="spotify:artist:6zLBxLdl60ekBLpawtT63I" data-name="Cody Johnson">Cody Johnson</a> band to record and release his debut EP “Secrets, Whiskey & Lies” during the COVID-19 pandemic. Following that project, Ben worked with producer and keyboardist Travis Bishop (<a href="spotify:artist:69Etpls5a2aATUkB6NInTY" data-name="Neal McCoy">Neal McCoy</a>) to put out a multitude of songs during 2022 with singles “Tell Me” and “Ghosts” landing on major playlists.
In September 2022,”Amen” a song solely written by Kadlecek was recorded by <a href="spotify:artist:53Pdb9rdy3SWEzBtyKk1om" data-name="Jacob Bryant">Jacob Bryant</a> as the lead single for his Barstool Preacher album, topping many Christian Country and Indie-Country charts. Ben has started 2023 with a couple of acoustic songs produced by Nick Jay (<a href="spotify:artist:5K4gVy6DhNd39mSjuK95Y7" data-name="The Band Of Heathens">The Band Of Heathens</a>).
Continually surrounding himself with talented music minds, and writing more than ever, Ben Kadlecek is a young artist to keep your eyes and ears on!
