"Fever Dreams" continues Ben Tavera King's singular take on world music by paying homage to "Bollywood Noir." On the opposite side of the spectrum from "Bollywood" -- "Bollywood Noir" is all about hard-luck Indian gumshoes tracking down criminal types in dark alleys and dingy clubs. Consequently, you hear sitars and flutes, but the mood is, well, more moody. Lots of lush melodies backed string sections and instruments like the tampur -- for the drone.
