Hi, i am Benfay and i make electronic music. Although I have a traditional background in music, the electronic studio has become my creative hub and go-to source of inspiration.
When i was a kid i improvised on the piano and played my songs to my piano teacher, she encouraged me to play those songs in front of people. This had a big impact on me, and I started believing that I could make other people happy through music.
In 2008 i started working as a producer together with <a href="spotify:artist:7rHHWAE6qECPr8IV1U7mML" data-name="Jagged">Jagged</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0DTN3egcNT6stWL3X1K4bb" data-name="Round Table Knights">Round Table Knights</a>. Here is some of my work from that time: <a href="spotify:album:2mvLMRrQjqIUtJnjmaNQHw" data-name="Langenthal EP">Langenthal EP</a>, <a href="spotify:track:6BdmHmozz9yi5sQFGuefru" data-name="Calypso">Calypso</a>. In 2009 and 2010 I released two albums on Everest Records. They are called <a href="spotify:album:71HIvm3HHRiA7Ahy9INkes" data-name="Replay Life">Replay Life</a> and <a href="spotify:album:0V0iWgdBvPX5MPE6AqDehl" data-name="Hey, What's Wrong Baby!">Hey, What's Wrong Baby!</a> I wanted to try new things with these albums and be more open with my ideas.
I started working with my friend Niels Jensen in 2016. Here is one of my favorite tracks by him called <a href="spotify:track:0hRWfi8ujzRy9EnGjX6kwg" data-name="Boulevard">Boulevard</a>. We started working together on a project called <a href="spotify:artist:6mUF6Fs28X5xGFY2UUqFex" data-name="Otacto">Otacto</a>.
Lately my favourite artists are <a href="spotify:artist:644PvPeYIyoq0n0eBP5fxG" data-name="Steffi">Steffi</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6ouoc1mn079GHUtC7VJrKL" data-name="Cofaxx">Cofaxx</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:7rZjYMRC5pTV089WKn1Y4s" data-name="Space Dimension Controller">Space Dimension Controller</a>.
