The italian Punknown, of real name Orazio Bongiovanni, has been crafting his classic-sounding, jacking House and Techno for a few good years now, having released his music on imprints such as Land of Dance, Blooming Soul, All Inn, Retrometro or his own Costreet label.
Orazio fell in love with the sounds of Chicago and Detroit very early on, and started to DJ regularly in his hometown, soon becoming a part of its underground scene. Soon after, he began playing all around Italy and also internationally in electronic music meccas like Berlin and London.
His sound stems from both his love for analogue machines and new music technology, combining the two approaches to create a sound that is simultaneously classic and fresh, and one that got him the support of key players in dance music such as Daniel Bell, Laurent Garnier, K'alexi, Steve Stoll, Robert Owens, Jared Wilson and others.
