Best known for composing the score, and other songs, to Sweden’s most popular film series of all times, the Johan Falk thrillers (20 movies between 1998 and 2015), Bengt Nilsson is not only a film composer. Based in the small town where he was born – in Kil, Värmland, right between Stockholm and Oslo – he is also experienced in other musical arenas. In the nineties he worked as a troubadour, and he has released albums in genres as diverse as electro-house, hard rock, and classical songs (interpretations of Bellman). Born in 1967, he has worked in the movie business since he was 17, first as a cameraman, then as a sound editor and re-recording mixer, and finally as a film composer. His style is inspired from music all over the world, yet it is very personal.
