Benhur
We are Kochi, India based acoustic singer/songwriter-guitarist duo.
Surreal, journey based compositions that tell a story
in the most subtle and dramatic way is the sound we envision.

Having released 2 singles from our EP, with 2 more in line for releases.
Our influences for the EP are drawn from acoustic/folk roots, with slight melancholic feels to it.
This being our first EP it consists of 4 songs, of which all are released Individually.
Even though they are all part of the same EP.

We have explored themes of self-reflection & empowerment in songs
“Runaway & Dancing chair”.
The song By the River focuses on realistic reflections of relationships.
Touching & reflecting on what most people would feel when in love. And our final song of the EP is set to be released in November.

However, we have our next album entirely focused on world music sounds.
And we intend to bring with each EP a distinct set of sound and style.

We were formed in Kochi, Kerala (India), and has been working on the project since 2019.
With more in line for releases in the coming months. We really can’t wait to show you what’s inside our head!
