Brazilian music and its dialogue with other cultures have been the field of activity of this pianist, arranger, composer and producer.
He started studying the piano at 18 and soon started to dedicate himself entirely to this activity. Participates as a musician and / or producer on more than 150 albums and CDS. He is responsible for the Núcleo Contemporâneo project - record label, producer and a cultural center in the city of São Paulo.
Since 1997 he started different musical projects such as the Orquestra Popular de Câmara; the choro set, Moderna Tradição; the work with the traditional music group Clareira and the jazz quartet Trio + 1; and the collective América Contemporânea, which brings together musicians and repertoires from countries in South America. He has been collaborating with musicians from several countries such as Morocco, South Africa, India, Israel, Spain and Colombia.
Recent projects include Fronteiras Imaginarias with Colombian saxophonist Antonio Arnedo, Sons de Sobrevivencia with the duo Soukast, The Little Miracle of Every Day, with Joao Taubkin and the Israeli musician Itamar Doari, Musica na Serrinha and the film O Piano Que Conversa- documentary that portrays 5 musical meetings of the pianist, in the country, and also Bolivia and Korea. And Musica na Serrinha with 12 musicians from all over the world,
