Beverly Bomber is a fuzzed-out, reverb-soaked garage/punk band hailing from California’s Coachella Valley. Self-described as freak pop, their sound blends gritty punk energy with catchy, blown-out melodies. Originally started as a solo project by Nick Spalding in Palm Springs, the band found its full form in 2024 when he joined forces with vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Emmita Johnson.
With songs like “Desert Rat” and “Pleasant Place,” they’ve captured the weird magic of the desert, while singles like “Hammer” and “Dog Bone” showcase their range—from proto-punk hooks to crunchy anthems. Now joined by Matt King, a key player in the local music scene, Beverly Bomber has been bringing their raucous live show to stages across Southern California—and they’re always down to hit the road.
