Born HitMakers (BHM) is the latest rousing, millennial-aged musical collective to emerge out of Atlanta: ushering in a sound they refer to as “street melodies with sauced-up flows.” The group’s current single, “Bag,” featuring Paper Lovee, is a high-octane, infectious joint filled with BHM’s signature vocal deliveries and whirring choruses over a ticking, rumbling rhythm track.

Comprised of husky-voiced, 21-year-old Demontez “BHM Facts” Franklin, airy-toned 21-year-old Gregory “BHM Y Pezzy” Morgan, and 19-year-old charismatic, tenor-voiced Javion “BHM Honcho” Pressley, the members of BHM rose from humble beginnings in low income Zone 3 to pursue their sonic dreams and become as BHM puts it “yucc,” meaning fly.

Facts and Pezzy connected while attending Douglass High School. Honcho came into the picture through early performances with mutual friends. Formerly known as Money Getters, BHM settled on the name Born Hit Makers in 2012 after writing a series of potential names on a sheet of paper in an effort to land a name that sticks. BHM persevered: monitoring their slow but steady following from both YouTube video clips and posting their music to Spinrilla.

The group is focused on a bright future: aspiring to tour the globe, assist with their peers dropping projects, and churning out new music from their home studios, striving to be the best. They’re catching waves and ripping stages in shopping malls, block parties, and skating rinks.
