Bianca Nisha

Ea Philippa Tange, known by her stage name Bianca Nisha, is a Danish singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and bandleader. With a diverse musical background, she has been a prominent figure on the Danish music scene for many years, working across genres for both adults and children. Tange has also collaborated with several renowned artists.

In 2022, Tange launched her solo project Bianca Nisha, a musical universe blending neoclassical and vocal-based pop. Her debut album, released in April 2022, was quickly recognized for its beautiful and melancholic musical approach. The single “Bleeding Blue” received widespread praise for its honest portrayal of standing beside someone struggling with depression.

In her early years as a musician, Tange served as the lead vocalist, pianist, and bandleader for her own nine-woman orchestra. She later formed the electropop duo Lucaléy with producer Bo Karlsson. Together, they released several albums and singles,. In 2014, Lucaléy composed the official theme song for Copenhagen Pride, where Tange performed in front of 40,000 people at in Copenhagen, promoting the festival’s message of inclusion and diversity.

Tange describes her lyrics as a journey between light and darkness, conveying both fragility and strength. Through this project, she has performed at prestigious cultural venues like the Design Museum Denmark and Ordrupgaard. In 2023, she was nominated for Gaffa’s New Danish Artist of the Year Award.
