A supremely stoked jungle producer who's recorded exclusively for LTJ Bukem's Good Looking/Looking Good stable, Big Bud concentrates on the usual fusion-soaked reveries of breakbeat drum'n'bass. He debuted with a few 12" efforts ("Blue 52," "Emotionography," "State of Mind") for Good Looking and earned appearances on the Bukem compilations Earth 3 and Logical Progression 3. Though Big Bud was in danger of being washed away by the hordes of similar (though not as solid) producers attached to Bukem, the release of the single-artist full-length Infinity + Infinity in 1999 (a rarity for GL/LG) appeared to push Big Bud ahead of the pack. Late Night Blues followed two years later. ~ John Bush, Rovi
