Big Homie hails from St. Louis, honing his musical talents since childhood. As a kid, he was introduced to rap music by his brother and was soon hooked. From attending talent shows at Matthew Dickey to writing his first song, "Money Some Kin To Me," at thirteen and recording his first video, it's been a journey of growth for Big Homie. Growing up in challenging circumstances allowed him to develop a resilient attitude that has built him for the music industry. His fortunes improved after he joined Camp Boyz (later rebranded as Cash Krew) in 2007, followed by RTF (previously known as DTE) , which released various mixtapes that gained popularity. His most recent release, “I’m Him” w/ <a href="spotify:artist:372IgXgnCt4wlfumrMTIOs" data-name="Big Boogie">Big Boogie</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:6Ha4aES39QiVjR0L2lwuwq" data-name="Yo Gotti">Yo Gotti</a>'s CMG label is sure to open him to new audiences nationally. His signature style revolves around the trap pain genre, and its emotional appeal has resonated well with both middle-aged and young listeners, causing a steady rise in popularity. Remaining inspired within hip-hop music circles, Big Homie has managed to touch hearts regardless of age or creed and intentions. Him and his CashKrew are set to be “Blowing Money Fast” off his impending success for years to come.
