Dallas born rapper Big Reezee (formerly known as Big Rod) has undergone a transformation over his 20 years as an underground artist. Initially he didn’t want his music to get out because of his career field (education). Yes, not only is he a established underground artist, he is also an established educator and coach in one of the roughest parts of Dallas (Oakcliff). Big Reezee never intended for his music to take off because he always looked at it like a hobby.

His first song that got him some hood recognition was a song called "Rack Daddy's" (released in 2006, a year after his college graduation) which was about a club/pool hall in Oakcliff that popular from 2004-2009. The song was played every Tuesday since it was mainly about 2 dollar tuesday which was the most lit night for Rack Daddy's. The song quickly became a hood classic, but He was so unknown, no one took notice.
After several other projects, Big Reezee now has over 60 songs on Spotify and all other major streaming platforms. His unique art of storytelling and personal matters definitely captures the listeners attention and after hearing 4 or 5 songs you’ll be hooked because you’ll be wondering what the hell is his next song going to be about. You just never know. His mind is literally all over the place and you just never know what’s gonna come out of his mouth.
