Jae Major is a Producer/Artist hailing from Durham, NC . The first musician of his immediate family, Jae’s passion for making beats started in 2003, when he began playing drums for “P-STORM” , a community- based drumline in Durham, NC. It was around that same time that he started experimenting with beat-making on the FL Studio demo on family’s computer. For the next 2 decades, he remained loyal to his passions of playing drums and making beats, as he would be become drumline captain both in both high school and college. He also started to develop a unique versatility and signature sound in his productions, usually with heavy percussion and southern/trap patterns countered with mellow, soft melodies. Some of Jae’s biggest beat-making inspirations include : Timbaland, Mannie Fresh, Pharrell, Kanye West, Juicy J, Lex Luger, Southside, MetroBoomin, Sonny Digital, Cardo, Sledgren and many more .
