Born in Memphis, Tennessee, May 8th 1953. Son of Dorsey Burnette, and nephew of Johnny Burnette of the Rock n Roll Trio. Billy was a member of Fleetwood Mac from for nine years 1987 to 1995. Billy has also written songs for Rod Stewart, Ray Charles, Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cher, George Strait, Tom Jones, Willie Nelson, Greg Allman, Tammy Wynette, Faith Hill and many others. Billy also toured with Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, Roger Miller as a guitar player. His latest single, "When The World Comes Back Around" is out now.
