Biota is an electronic-rock duo, exploring the edges of the experimental and the intuitive through a psychedelic veil.
Our upcoming album "Memories Like Fuel" is our raw indie output and it's a blend of our favorite genres: psychedelic rock, blues & surf with electronic music. This album is a celebration of biota's old-school roots and common grounds as a duo, featuring old tracks from 8 years ago where it all began. It is also an ode to the cabin studio which may have perished, where so many unforgettable memories had formed - the trips, the forest fires, the river, the hi-fi stereo, the tape recordings, the joy of being in a womb, a state of wonder and a surreal sense of time, the soul within the wooden walls.
