Budapest-based producers János & Vajk, a.k.a Birdsday, have been creating a fresh blend of future-pop, chill-out and tropical house together for more than 8 years. In that time, the duo have gained widespread support from MTV, performed at countless festivals such as Sziget and been played on huge radio and TV outlets in Hungary and beyond.
Beginning their musical journey in the rural Hungarian town of Sárospatak, Birdsday gained inspiration for their name from the rich soundscapes that the surrounding natural world had to offer. Their debut EP ‘Right & Wrong’ reflects this explicitly, with sun-touched sounds that evoke and sample the essence of summer. However, János & Vajk never settle within one genre for too long. Their constant experimentation with sounds, textures and instrumentation makes them one of the most exciting production-duos around.
With a much-anticipated release with DAZE (F.K.A Mausi) on the horizon, big things lie in wait for Birdsday.
