Billy, at age 13, gained a following on YouTube from covers and original songs, most notably a viral “send this to your crush without context” video. Taking a break from social media in 2018, he returned again in 2020. Using only his laptop to record and produce his songs, he creates music themed around growing up’s challenges, as he does so himself. His most popular track, “I Won’t Be Going Trick or Treating This Year”, embodies just that, mixing the struggle of growing away from things you’d do as a child, and the fear of missing out.
