Bishop Vaughn is a third generation pastor who is also the shepherd of the One Church in Kansas City, MO. A seasoned musician and former minister of music, Bishop Vaughn released his first album, “My Praise, My Worship," under the name of Sir Tez & G.P. in 2005.
Bishop Vaughn developed a new level of recognition when his smooth baritone led J.J. Hairston & Youthful Praise’s soul-stirring anthem, “You Deserve It,” in 2016. The inspiring ballad spent numerous weeks at No. 1 on various Billboard Magazine music charts (Gospel Digital Song Sales, Hot Gospel Songs and the Gospel Airplay chart) and racked up millions of online streams.
