Bit Cloudy's rave background took a back seat while he was playing guitar, bass and keys in a series of E London based art rock and freak folk bands.
He plays in Lost Map's art pop group Firestations, but as Bit Cloudy composes, produces, remixes and plays live AV shows with self-made video projections.
Cult Scottish label Werra Foxma released his debut album Energy Giant in late 2021, and other recent releases have been on Front & Follow and The Dark Outside. The track Temple Deadbeat has received over half a million plays on Spotify (and been played out by Sasha), and radio exposure has included BBC6Music, Threads, Worldwide, Noods, Dark Train, Resonance FM and Soho Radio. In June 2023 he was invited to curate and present an hour long Freak Zone Playlist for BBC6Music.
He was also a finalist in the International Sound Art Competition and Exhibition for the Engine Room at Morley College, London, and performed at Iklectik for the launch.
Remixes (including Veslemes, Astronauts, Sarmacja and Pictish Trail) have come out on Lo Recordings, Byrd Out and Lost Map Records.
Bit Cloudy has appeared alongside Pye Corner Audio, Laetitia Sadier, Talvin Singh, Shitmat, Tom Furse and Bullion in London.
