Black Elk were a post-classical group formed by Ian Hawgood in collaboration with Tim Martin, Danny Norbury, and Clem Leek throughout one album (Sparks) and a five CD series of ‘Sketches’ that were sold exclusively on their 2013 Japan tour. They performed as a duet (Hawgood, Norbury) or trio (Hawgood, Norbury, Leek), and also worked alongside Aki Tomita, Konntinent and Daniel Thomas Freeman.
