Black Tooth is the first Southern Metal Band originating from Turkey who had the runners up degree at the Battle for OzzFest contest among 300 bands and had the right to play at the OzzFest 2009 in Texas. In 2007 and 2008, Black Tooth had two successful Texas tours and played at the Ride for Dime Fest in these years with the personal invitation received from Rita Haney. In June 2009, the band took stage at the Sweden Rock Festival and laterly 2010 was the time to appear at the Sonisphere Festival.
Many times, Black Tooth won the first degree for the “Best Live Band” and the “Best Live Performance” categories at the readers poll competitions organized by the most popular rock magazines in Turkey.
