The band puts a modern twist on traditional songs from the Balkans and Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on Bulgarian dance music and arresting, improvisational arrangements. Odd time signatures, modal melodies, and soaring, swirling three part female harmonies in combination with layers of a full instrumental ensemble work together to create an unforgettable sound.
