BLCKEBY (blæki:bɔɪ) is the alias of Marco Diamubeni, a Roman producer and DJ born in 1991. His music is an interweaving of avant-garde electronica and urban influences, capable of fusing elements of hip-hop, R&B, ambient and bass music into a fluid and constantly evolving sonic language.
From his debut with “Plume EP” and “Flying Attitude EP” (2015, Substance Records) to the release of “INNER” (2021, doubledoubleu records), his path is marked by constant artistic research and an out-of-the-box musical sensibility. “My Life Could Be A Movie” is his latest studio work, an album that reflects years of sonic and visual experimentation.
In addition to music production, BLCKEBY has taken his eclectic taste to the capital's most iconic clubs, such as Circolo degli Illuminati and Goa Club, and to prominent festivals including Spring Attitude, Manifesto, and Pinewood Festival. His sound has traveled through national and international radio shows, hosted by platforms such as Radio Raheem, RBL Turin, NEU Radio, Hotel Radio Paris, Radio Relativa, and Quantica Radio. From 2020 to 2023 he curated his residency on 1020 Radio with “I Must Be Elsewhere” and is currently host of Radio Sugo, an independent platform based in Rome.
