Blitz The Ambassador is a Grammy Nominated multidisciplinary artist born in Ghana and based in Brooklyn. He has released 5 studio albums featuring guests like Public Enemy’s Chuck D, Seun Kuti and Angelique Kidjo. Blitz is a pioneer of mixing Afrobeat and Hip-Hop and has toured in over 20 countries with his live band The Embassy Ensemble. As a filmmaker, Blitz co-directed Beyoncé’s Black Is King. He is set to direct the musical version of The Color Purple for Warner Bros produced by Quincy Jones, Stephen Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey. Blitz is also a recipient of the Vilcek Prize and the Guggenheim Fellowship
