Invincible/ill Weaver is a Detroit based gender non-conforming/trans* artist and organizer. They were born in Champaign, Illinois. At the age of 1, Invincible moved to Palestine, returning to the United States at the age of 7 - first living in Ann Arbor, Michigan, then moving to Detroit, Michigan. They learned English through studying hip-hop lyrics, then began writing their own rhymes by the age of nine. Invincible is a co-founder of EMERGENCE Media, through which they released their debut album ShapeShifters (2008). They toured globally for two decades, both as a solo artist; as part of the gender justice Hip-Hop collective ANOMOLIES; in collaboration with Platinum Pied Pipers, and alongside Finale. They teamed up with longtime producer Waajeed in 2010 to release the Detroit Summer/Emergence EP.
Invincible no longer performs solo work, but creates art and music with the collective Complex Movements, with which they released the Beware of the Dandelions soundtrack (2016).
