Blue Venus is a hardcore band from St. Paul, Minnesota, with influences ranging from disco to black metal. Together, they channel their daily struggles into furious songs fueled by feminism, anti-racism, and daily life. They tear open an exclusive subculture to provide recognition and representation for punks of color and queer punks. After releasing a collection of demos called Papercut and recording a live session with Ear Coffee in 2020, Blue Venus released their debut EP titled Nosebleed in January 2022.
