Formed in 2013 via e-mail file sharing, BNQT (pronounced "banquet") is a band made up of members of well-established British and American indie rock groups <a href="spotify:artist:0OdUWJ0sBjDrqHygGUXeCF">Band of Horses</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0XNa1vTidXlvJ2gHSsRi4A">Franz Ferdinand</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3bUwxJgNakzYKkqAVgZLlh">Travis</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4YsP5zmteLQ7etNjHAOu30">Midlake</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:3W4xM5XYtUp4ifYYPVKVdk">Grandaddy</a>. It features all of those bands' lead singers: <a href="spotify:artist:6Vfn70eqp3AgtiZZtQcv4W">Ben Bridwell</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:43tffeOxONSbTQ888To7bE">Alex Kapranos</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4aOlvHWfdhabykTMWsPcfF">Fran Healy</a>, Eric Pulido (who approached the others), and <a href="spotify:artist:2BqjUvq3HLFWNi1buGVxem">Jason Lytle</a>, respectively. Reliably melodic and guitar-driven, their debut single, "Restart," was released in January 2017.
