A high energy, lo-fi garage punk band out of Stevens Point, WI, Bob Burns & the Breakups were formed in 2003 when singer and guitarist Bob Burns joined forces with drummer Bryce and bassist Zac from the Beatdown Destroyers. Working in the raw, immediate tradition of bands like the Dils and the New Bomb Turks, the trio released a 7" EP, "C-Store, Baby!," on Dingus Records in 2004, followed by a 12" LP, Frustration, from Germany's P-Trash Records (Mad Cook Records in the U.S.) in 2005. A second EP, "Hydrostatic Heart," was released in 2006 by Plastic Idol Records. Signing to Gearhead Records, the band released Terminal Breakdown as a full-length CD in 2007. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
